Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy Day to friends far and wide. May ye celebrate with verve whatever that entails. In New York you may hear the Pogues playing at the new Nokia venue, at Times Square I think. Paul Scully is there to engineer the sound and I hear that Neil Kelly and Joe are attending on Sunday. Camille is watching the parade in Dublin and the Winterpoodles will catch the event in Castletownbere.

As we all know by now St Patrick's outstanding achievement was to banish the shnakes from Ireland and according to Brendan Behan they went to New York and became cops.

Dear Tim and all,

Great to see photos of Barnes and leah on the Winterpoodle 'blog'. We had their 'ma' here a week or so ago at 'Rivertime' on the Hawlkesbury River, Australia - following the path of the wandering baronet. Happy St. Pat's Day to you all in West Cork.

What did St. Patrick say to the snakes and the serpents when he he drove them out of Ireland - "Are you lads okay in the back there?". Ugh!!

Lindsay and Su.
